Child and Babysitting Safety Class
We believe that no one should be sitting on a baby. We turn our baby sitters into Injury Prevention and Activities Coordination Specialists. Preventing injuries and keep kids busy is the key to success - let us help show your child how it’s done.
Babysitting is a favorite choice for middle school, high school, and college-aged young adults looking to earn extra cash during evening and school breaks. But are they prepared to prevent or handle the situations and or emergencies that inevitably occur? Babysitting is serious business and a big responsibility; your child is taking care of someone else’s child or perhaps a younger sibling. Make sure they are prepared and knowledgeable in babysitting best practices as well as how to operate their first attempt at running a small business.
Our Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) training program is designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keep children and infants safe in babysitting settings. The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting; proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants.
This class is perfect for people (11 to 18 years old) who are interested in providing babysitting services.
The National Safety Council turned to the doctors at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH to determine the five most common injuries that affect children when not in school often ending in a trip to the hospital: falls, bicycle injuries, burns, vehicle accidents and drowning.
